Telekom

To operate the Telekom voicemail box, please carry out the following steps:

- Press the menu key

- Select answering machine

- Select network answering machine

- The network answering machine appears: please enter the phone number 08003302424 there.

- Press Save (right button below the display).

Then press the 1 key a little longer to go directly to the Telekom voicemail box.

To deactivate the voicemail box later, please follow the steps below.

Please dial the Telekom voicemail number (0800 330 2424) with your landline telephone. In the main menu of the voicemail box, please dial "4". Your voicemail box is now deactivated.

Please note that speed dialling key 1 starts in "Open listening" mode with the microphone switched off and is only used to retrieve messages. If you would like to record a new greeting, please dial the number of the network answering machine 08003302424 manually and then follow the voice instructions.

Vodafone

The service of a network answering machine was discontinued by Vodafone on 01.11.2020 and is no longer available. If you have an AVM Fritzbox as a router on your connection, you can use the network answering machine of the Fritzbox. Please read the section for Fritzboxes below to set this up.

O2

O2 does not offer a network answering machine in the fixed network. If you have an AVM Fritzbox as a router on your line, you can use the network answering machine of the Fritzbox. Please read the section for Fritzboxes below to set this up.

Easybell

Easybell offers a network answering machine, but this cannot be called to retrieve messages. Activation and the greeting message are configured via the customer portal. Messages received are sent as an audio file to the customer's e-mail address.

Deutsche Glasfaser

Deutsche Glasfaser offers a network answering machine, but this cannot be called to retrieve messages. Activation and the greeting message are configured via the customer portal. Messages received are sent as an audio file to the customer's e-mail address.

Router

Fritzbox

To operate the network answering machine of the Fritzbox, please carry out the following steps:

- Press the menu key

- Select answering machine

- Select network answering machine

- Network answering machine appears: please enter **600 (possibly **601 or **602 if several answering machines have been configured in the Fritzbox)

- Save (press the right button below the display)

Then press the 1 key a little longer to go directly to the Fritzbox answering machine.

Please note that speed dialling key 1 starts in "Open listening" mode with the microphone switched off and is only used to retrieve messages. If you would like to record a new announcement, please dial the number of the Fritzbox answering machine manually (**600 or similar - as mentioned above) and follow the voice instructions of the Fritzbox.

Speedport

There is no answering machine service in the current Speedport models. To set up a network answering machine on a telecoms connection, please follow the instructions in the provider section above in the article.

Unitymedia/Vodafone Connect Box

This standard router from Unitymedia/Vodafone does not include an answering machine.
