1.) Press Menu key
2.) enter *#05#, a 9 appears in the display
3.) type in 83, a 0 appears in brackets
4.) Enter 1
5.) Press OK key (right key below the display)
A globe appears on the display and a bar runs from left to right.

IMPORTANT: This procedure will delete all memory contents of the phone including the phone book, redial list etc.!
1.) Pull out the power cable
2.) keys redial, hands-free key and the 6th function key pressed simultaneously
hold
3.) Reconnect the power cable
4.) A globe appears on the display and a bar runs from left to right
5.) Keep the keys pressed until the bar has run about halfway
