View and update Gigaset HX handset firmware version

If you want to find out which firmware is currently on your Gigaset HX handset, proceed as follows:

Menu → Settings → System → Handset update
Current version
Confirm with "OK"
You will now see the current firmware version of your Gigaset HX handset

If you want to update the firmware now, this can be easily done in three steps:

Menu → Settings → System → Handset update
Refresh
Confirm with "OK" to start the download

Important notice: If you use your handset on a base station that is not from Gigaset, these functions may not be available.
