Output Voltage of powersuppy differs from printed values

We specify the minimum voltage and minimum current required to operate the device on the power supply units.  The following description is an example for the Gigaset standard power supply unit for analogue bases (C707) with the values 6.5 volts and 300 mA. For charging cradles or devices with other power supply units, this is a basic description.

A measurement with a multimeter at the contacts of the power supply unit will usually indicate a voltage of 9 volts. A measurement with a load of less than 300 mA will also produce such a measurement result. As the load increases, the voltage provided by the power supply unit decreases, but never falls below the values printed on the device.

This is completely safe during operation and has also been confirmed in TÜV tests.
