SOS Call - Callee can't pick the call by pressing 5

E560/E560 A, E560HX, E720/E720A, E720HX, E390HX, E370HX, Easy Care 600, E380A Smartcare devices support SOS call to personal configured destination numbers.

The Callee of such an SOS call has to confirm the call to be taken by pressing the keypad number 5. A DTMF information will then send to the caller to clarify that the call has been taken by a human and not a voicemail system.

In some cases - when a mobile phone number was set as destination - the DTMF information will not be send to the caller. This usually occurs if the provider sends the DTMF information as audio payload. In some cases covering the microphone while pressing the 5 could be helpful, but can't be guaranteed.

We recommend to choose only fixed line numbers as a destination for the SOS call function of your device.

We also recommend to set up only private numbers (no emergeny call numbers) as destinations.
