When resetting your device, all memory contents (your personal greeting in the answering machine, left messages, call list) will be deleted.
1. Reset the base:
- Unplug the power supply unit.
- Press and hold the paging button on the base station.
- Plug the power supply unit back in.
- Press and hold the paging button on the base for another 5 seconds, then release it.
All handsets are deregistered. The system PIN is reset to 0000.
2. Now re-register the handset by making the following adjustments on the handset:
- Open menu
- Select "Settings" and confirm
- Select the item "Registration" or "Handset" and confirm with "OK"
- Confirm the item "Register handset" with "OK".
- Enter the system PIN (delivery state 0000) and confirm with "OK".
3. Press the login/paging button on the base station for at least 5 seconds to initiate the login process:
- Note: The base search will be aborted after 60 seconds. If the handset has not been registered during this time, please repeat the process.
- After a successful registration, the handset is automatically assigned to the lowest free internal number.
Resetting a Gigaset SL910H
Resetting the handset completely deletes the phonebook/address book and the handset settings!
- Remove the battery from the handset.
- Press and hold the On-hook and Off-hook buttons simultaneously.
- Reinsert the battery.
- Continue to hold down the buttons until the handset has restarted.
Resetting a Gigaset SL930H
Resetting the handset completely deletes the phonebook/address book and the handset settings!
- Turn off the phone.
- Press and hold the green, red and cottage button.
- Then release the red button but keep the other two pressed for a few seconds.
- The Android manikin will appear on the display and then a menu with a blue background will appear.
- Select "Wipe Data/ Factory Reset" or "Wipe Data and DECT" (depending on the software) by pressing the button to the right of the cottage button and confirm with the green button.
- A new menu will appear with some items marked with "No". Please select the option which is marked with "Yes". To do this, navigate with the arrow button and confirm with the green button.
- If you are asked for a "Reboot", please confirm.
The handset is then reset to the factory settings.
Backing up the settings of a Gigaset DX device and then resetting the device
1. Save data
- Go on the Internet.
- Enter www.gigaset-config.com or the IP address of the Gigaset device in the address line of your browser.
- Select the language and enter the system PIN (0000) of the Gigaset device.
- Click on the settings.
- On the left side the menu items are visible.
- Select Phonebook Transfer, where you have the option to transfer your phonebook entries to the PC.
- Then please click on Device Management.
- Select Save Settings in the Device Management section.
- Save the settings on your PC.
- In the same way, you can later upload your data back to the Gigaset device.
2. Reset the device
After you have backed up your data, please log out from the interface at the top right.
To completely reset the Gigaset DX800A, press the following buttons while the device is idle state:
- Open the menu.
- Enter the buttons * # 0 5 # one after another.
- The display will show "System" and a 9 #.
- Now enter 8 3, then 983 SET appears in the display and the 0 flashes.
- Click on 1 and save with OK.
The base station restarts and all memory contents (incl. phone book, handset registration, etc.) will be deleted.
or
- Pull out the power cable.
- Press and hold down the redial button, speakerphone button and the 6th function button simultaneously.
- Reconnect the power cable.
- A globe appears in the display and a bar runs from left to right.
- Keep the buttons pressed until the bar has run about half way through.
After the reset, go back to the web interface and then execute the IP setup.
Resetting a Gigaset DA device

IMPORTANT: This procedure will erase all memory contents of the phone including the phonebook, redial list, etc.!
- Pick up the handset
- Press the memory button
- Enter 1 2 5 0
- Press the memory button
- Hang up the handset
DA710 & DA810A

- Pick up the handset
- Press the menu button
- Enter 1 2 5 0
- Confirm with OK
- Hang up the handset
