VCARD (.vcf) Format for Contacts

Handsets that are capable of contact synchronization via Bluetooth or USB process contact data using VCARD (.vcf) format. Version 2.1 is used supported as listed below. When using a Gigaset IP base, the phonebook of a handset can be saved via the web interface of the base and also be saved back to the handset (Settings --> Directories --> Directory Transfer). It is also possible to send and receive VCARDs via Bluetooth as long as the handset is equipped with Bluetooth.

Please note that later VCARD versions may contain a different field name which cannot be recognized by our devices. If you use an external software to create/alter VCARDs, please keep this in mind.
