In accordance with Article 52 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, economic operators who place batteries on the EU market or put them into service are required to provide corresponding audit reports. The requirements for auditing must be implemented from August 2027 onwards. An initial audit will be conducted with a corresponding time lag.
