If you need to change your phone or send it in for repair, you can back up your data to your Google Account in advance.
The following data will be backed up:
- Google Calendar settings
- WLAN networks and passwords
- Backgrounds of the start screen
- Gmail settings
- Apps installed via Google Play (apps saved in the Play Store app)
- Language and input settings
- Date/Time
- Photos and videos
Note:
The Android Backup Service is not used by all apps. Some apps may not support data backup and data restoration.

Photos and videos are not backed up by default. If you still want to back them up, follow the steps below:
