How do I create a backup of my data and settings?

If you need to change your phone or send it in for repair, you can back up your data to your Google Account in advance.

The Android Backup Service is not used by all apps. Some apps may not support data backup and data restoration.

Photos and videos are not backed up by default. If you still want to back them up, follow the steps below:

1. carry out steps 1-3 (above) again	2. "Photos & videos"	3. activate the slider for "Backup"
4. "Back up device folders"	5. Here you can select which folders are to be backed up. You save the folders by activating the respective sliders	<--- You most likely have more folders. Select the folders you want to back up.
