Under events, it will showed as "closed", and when opening the door the alarm won't get activated. I have calibrated the sensor, but it still shows as "closed" when alarm is activated and won't trigger the siren.

Have you already tried the magnet?
There is a knowledge article on this topic on the Gigaset website. Maybe that will help you:
"How do I calibrate the Gigaset door, window and universal sensors?"
Then you have not calibrated the sensor correctly.
If you open the door two fingers (5cm) when calibrating, open it a foot wide. This way, the sensor recognises more accurately when the door is open and when it is closed.
Maybe it also helps to tape the magnet right next to the sensor.

I could not get the sensor working properly, so I used a different
sensor. With the other sensor I had the same problem, even though i
changed within different locations at the door frame. I calibrated the
sensor, but again with not luck. After a while, without doing anything
the sensor reported closed, so I thought the issue was solved. However,
last night at approximately 4:36 in the morning, the alarm went off by
itself which never happened before. To be honest I am very frustrated
about the alarm system. I don't know the problem is the sensor, I
replaced as I told you and located it in a different location in the
door frame. All the alarm activity can be seen in the server, which for
me may have something to do with the issue.
