The FOTA update service for the Gigaset GS290/GX290/GS4 with an old operating system software version has been stopped. These devices have the possibility to update to the latest software version via a local update. In the attachment you will find instructions for the relevant product, which describe how the smartphone could be updated from an older version to the latest version by using an official update package in the local storage.
